Derbyshire Discovery 2015 -
Saturday 13th June
Due to the inclement weather rather than the planned route from White Lodge car park up the side of Monsal dale to Brushfield we instead walked the Monsal Trail from Wyedale car park to Litton Mill and then picked up the planned route up Tideswell Dale to the Tideswell Picnic area where lunch was taken.
From there we continued on to Litton, crossing fields to walk down Tansley Dale and Cressbrook Dale.
We then took the Monsal Trail as far as the railway viaduct from which rather than continuing back to White Lodge car park we ascended to Monsal Head to enjoy a cup of tea at Hobbs Cafe.
